This is a High pressure race pump in brand new condition .This pump is designed to provide a superior oil pressure that is 30-40% above stock VTEC pumps. All stage 2 pumps deliver higher flow and velocity while maintaining greater pressures at any RPM. The billet gears are digitally calibrated and balanced to provide a true radius while our housing is micro-polished to minimize pumping loss at the crank. In this fashion you get less harmful harmonics and a 2-5 HP increase when synthetic oil is used to complement our pumps. The gears handle revs of up to 9000RPM N/A and 375 HP on boost without gear failure or housing erosion.
The pumps work well for N/A engines but it’s with turbos where it shines due to it’s ability to maintain integrity under oil demands from turbos and oil coolers. DON’T GET RIPPED OFF BY IMITATORS WHO ONLY SHIM THE PUMPS WITHOUT CALIBRATING PSI. IMITATOR PUMPS LOSE PRESSURE WHEN THE SPRING FATIGUE EXCEEDS IT’S TOLERANCES. THE RESULT IS TOO LOW OR TOO HIGH PRESSURES THAT WILL MAKE VTEC NOT WORK AND/OR PREMATURE BEARING WEAR OUT. 12 years of building and R&D experience assures you are getting a pump that delivers and safeguards your expensive engine build. NOTE: ON ALL 89-95 ENGINES THE LOWER TIMING COVER WILL NEED TO BE TRIMMED AT THE BOTTOM 1/2 AN INCH
